The fingerless design allows for improved dexterity and tactile feedback, making the glove ideal for precision tasks involving hand tools and power tools. VEP padding works by mimicking the behavior of liquids while remaining solid, allowing it to disperse shock waves in all directions. This advanced material helps minimize impact and vibration while returning to its original shape between shocks. Laboratory testing has shown VEP can absorb up to 500% more shock than foam of the same thickness, providing superior protection without sacrificing flexibility or tool control. Typical glove padding thickness is 1/8 in. (3 mm) to ensure excellent shock absorption while maintaining tactile sensitivity.
