The ARMOUR GUARD Flame Retardant Jacket is designed to provide reliable protection in environments where sparks, heat, and sudden flame exposure are present. Its self-extinguishing fabric helps reduce burn risk, enhancing user safety on the job. Manufactured from durable 9 oz. flame-resistant, chemical-treated cotton, this jacket protects against welding sparks and spatter while remaining comfortable for extended wear. The snap front closure allows for easy on and off, and two inner pockets provide convenient storage. Tested to ASTM D6413-10 standards (char length ≤ 6") to meet ASTM F1506 criteria, the jacket maintains its flame-resistant properties through up to 25 commercial washes at 165°F or 50 home washes at 145°F . Ideal for use in shipyards, TIG and MIG welding, wind energy, manufacturing, construction, road work, agriculture, and demolition.
